The Blue River Century is not possible without our awesome volunteers. We need a ton of help to make the ride a success. Join us as we start planning for 2010. It is critical to have plenty of volunteers on ride day to support our riders. Our goal is to make sure our volunteers have a fun experience (after all, even we organizers are volunteering our time for this event).

We are looking for volunteers to assist in the following areas:

* Work Aid Stations- provide food & refreshments to riders along the course
* Course Marshals - help direct the riders along the course (ideal for groups of 2). We try to arrange the schedules to keep these shifts only 1-2 hours each.
* SAG support - volunteers willing to use their vehicle to assist riders in distress along the route (take them back to start, get them first aid if necessary, etc.)
* Bike Mechanics - need bike mechanics at the various aid stations to assist w/flat tires and other issues
* Registration/Packet Pick-up - This position is actually needed on 8/21 from 4 p.m. - 8:15 p.m..

Volunteer shifts will range from 2-4 hours (1-2 hours for course marshals) and the timing is flexible, dependent on availability.

All volunteers will receive a free event t-shirt (men's and women's cuts) and if working during lunch time volunteers will also receive a free lunch. There will be post-ride activities at River Run @ Keystone that volunteers are invited to participate in. Please email us for more details and scheduling.
