Summit County offers a variety of lodging, shopping and summer activities for the entire family. We encourage you to explore the area before and/or after the ride. Summit County offers exceptional opportunities for outdoor enthusiasts, including hiking, road and mountain biking golfing, horseback riding, sailing and boating of all kinds.

Lodging (Rates for 2010 confirmed)

A block of rooms will be available at the Keystone Resort. Call Keystone at 800-258-0437 and be sure to mention Blue River Century.
Condo specials will be offered at River Run. Hotel specials will be offered at the Inn at Keystone, which is 1/4 mile from the start.

***Please book early, with the Blues and Arts Festival, rooms will sell out quickly at the discounted rates.

Discounted Rates for Blue River Century:

  • 2 Bedroom Condo in River Run (sleeps 6) $199 per night
  • 1 Bedroom Condo in River Run - $140 per night
  • Studio condo in River Run - $120 per night

Inn at Keystone (hotel a 1/4 mile from River Run) - $109 per night (they do take pets)

Gateway Efficiency - $105 per night

River Bank 1 Bedroom - $135 per night

Silverthorne and Frisco host a variety of chain hotels and are about 7-12 miles from the start.

Summit County offers great hotel deals in the summer.

Bike Rentals for the Blue River Century

High Trail Sports will have rental bicycles available for the 2010 Blue River Century.

Keystone/River Run – Ski village with new gondolas, mountain biking, cycling, hiking, paddle boats at Keystone, bike path and several of events and festivals.
Breckenridge – Main Street, shopping, dining, hiking, mountain biking, cycling, summer events and festivals.
Frisco – Main Street, shopping, summer events, hiking and cycling
Dillon– Marina, Amphitheater with concerts, Farmers Market, Playhouse, movies, hiking, cycling
Silverthorne– Outlet shopping, cycling, river walk

Directions

River Run Village is at the base of Loveland Pass.

From Denver/Front Range
Travel west on I-70 through Eisenhower Tunnel to Summit County
Exit 205 Silverthorne/Dillon
Turn LEFT on US Route 6 (East)
Travel approx. six miles, pass Keystone Resort to the River Run, turn RIGHT on Gondola Road.
Immediately turn LEFT to parking lot into River Run
Park in the Montezuma Ski Parking Lot
Enter River Run Village through the main entrance from the Parking Lot
Blue River Century event registration, packet picket, and information booths will be in the "Buffalo Courtyard" (follow the signs)

From Vail/Western Slope:
Travel east on I-70
Exit 205 Silverthorne/Dillon
Turn right on Hwy 6
Travel about 6 miles, pass Keystone Resort to the River Run, turn right on Gondola Road.
Park in the Montezuma Ski Parking Lot
Enter River Run Village through the main entrance from the Parking Lot
Blue River Century event registration, packet picket, and information booths will be in the "Buffalo Courtyard" (follow the signs)

Please note: When you exit I-70 at Exit 205, if you turn south, you will be on US Route 6. If you turn north, you will be on CO Hwy 9.
