We are a mix of road and mountain cyclists from Boulder, Colorado with a commitment to making a difference in our world through the best way we know – cycling! After riding several centuries and other distances to benefit numerous charitable organizations, we felt the desire to create something special and unique in our own backyard.

Since its inception in 2008, the Blue River Century has had the goal of being a "zero waste" event. In fact, we diverted 94% of the waste generated by the 2009 event from going in landfills!
